Join the Government, Policy & Social Impact Career Community as we chat with alumni who've attended a range of graduate programs across disciplines.

Lacy Broemel, MSW is a Brown School grad and works as the Director of Programming and Sponsor Engagement at the Innovative Futures Collective, a nonprofit devoted to educating policymakers and the public on AI issues.  She previously worked at the State Department and the International Refugee Assistance Project.

Lia Downing has a Master of City Planning from MIT and is a Project Manager at Community Sustainability Partners in NYC. She's had a range of jobs in community development and was an antitrust paralegal at the DOJ. She got her undergrad in Anthropology and Chinese Language and Culture. 

Otto Brown is a current Master of Public Policy student at Harvard Kennedy School. You may know him from his previous work as the Civic Engagement Manager at the Gephardt Institute. Otto will share how he  decided on an MPP and learn about his HKS experience so far.

Daiszha Cooley has a joint MPH/MSW from the Brown School and is a Maternal and Child Health Analyst and Epidemiologist with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. Prior to grad school, Daiszha worked for on issues of youth engagement, substance use prevention, health equity and racial equity in Colorado. Her undergrad degree was in Neuroscience and Psychology.
